Kissimmee Prairie State Park Camping Trip

Kissimmee Prairie State Park Camping Trip

Last week I went on what is turning in to be a yearly camping trip to Kissimmee Prairie State Park. I spent 6 nights and seven days this year and was happy to have 4 of my 6 nights clear. With mild 75 degree temperatures during the day and cool 50-60 degrees at night was just great for tent living all week.

Below are a few images and a timelapse video from the week.

Time-lapse

This time-lapse was taken during my week long camping trip to Kissimmee Prairie State Park in December of 2013. As evidence from the many sequences or cloud formations the sky was less than optimal for deep sky imaging but made fore some killer time-lapse video. During my final night the park had a scheduled burn of 5000 acres that lasted until early evening, the glow and smoke from the flames can see in the final 30 seconds of this video.
