Last night as Charlie Hein and the weather gurus predicted the skies cleared out nicely after midnight. I opted for the relative comfort of my front yard and garage observatory and did a bit of imaging from 1230 pm - 2 am. I had a tough time with the guiding and never really got it under control. That can been seen in the oval looking stars in the image of M16. The image is 5 x 10 minute subs on M16 using my C8 at F/10 and my QHY8. Not a bad effort but could have been so much better!

BTW the Q and Starshoot camera's are going on astromart next week should anyone be interested. I got a good deal on a Starlight XPress SXVR-M25C & SXV-EX system I will be picking up soon.
